Our team here at De Paul Villa Aged Care of happy, dedicated kitchen staff cook and prepare a tasty range of scrumptious home-cooked meals daily. Nutritious, wholesome, well-presented meals are our kitchen staffs number one priority, along with providing for each individuals likes and dislikes at meal times.
From our full Continental breakfasts and Sunday bacon and egg cook ups, to our choice of delicious lunch menus, dinner, morning & afternoon teas and supper, we make sure that our residents are fully catered for!
Special events like birthdays or anniversaries are always celebrated and residents are welcome to have their family or friends join them for lunch at a nominal cost.
Our menus change to suit the season and some of our residents’ favourites include prawn cocktails, roast chicken, ham-off-the- bone and pavlova, amongst other delights. The kitchen also serves party food and finger food for our popular monthly ‘Happy Hour’ that includes refreshments. Special diets such as diabetic, vitaminised or religious needs are also catered for by the kitchen.

Most of our residents like to keep busy and are involved in a broad range of social activities, special interest groups, group outings, clubs, committees and volunteer groups. Activities Coordinators organise anything from bingo, indoor bowls and board games to visiting entertainers and our famous themed Dinner Dances. So there’s always lots happening here!
Our huge 3.5m by 4m movie screen, complete with surround sound system is always popular on movie nights or when residents come together to support their favourite team for live events like State of Origin or the Melbourne Cup. For the more adventurous, De Paul Villa is located just a short drive to the fabulous Gold Coast beaches and Hinterland, and special day tours can be organised through a preferred local bus company.
Our own special pets include a bird aviary and Princess Pookey the Maltese Terrier who is never short of affection from our residents who love interacting with the most spoilt member of our happy ‘family.’
